Richard
Bucci is an Senior Consultant with The PELORUS Group and founder of
Technology Marketing Associates. With
over 25 years of experience in the communications industry, Mr. Bucci has
focused his research on the call center, speech recognition, IVR and monitoring
markets. In addition, Mr. Bucci has
consulted for many of the leading companies in the communications field
including Avaya, Microsoft, Siemens ICN and Sprint.
Mr.
Bucci’s background includes senior marketing and sales management positions at
Comdial Corporation, Nortel Networks. Significant
accomplishments include directing Nortel Networks’ entry into the U.S.
small-medium business market and managing the relaunch of a vertical market
solution at Comdial. Most recently,
Mr. Bucci was a research analyst and consultant for Frost and Sullivan.
Mr. Bucci’s keen insights have been quoted in the Washington Post,
Individual Investor, Investors Business Daily, Speech
Technology Magazine, CRM Today and others.
Mr.
Bucci has membership in the American Marketing Association and the Multimedia
Telecommunications Association, currently known as the Enterprise Communications
Association. He has served on the
Board of Governors and has been active in the market research, regulatory,
government affairs, CTI and Futures Committees.
Mr.
Bucci has a Master of Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of
Management, Case-Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Business
Administration from Kent State University.
He has taught marketing management at the University of Virginia, and
served as a guest lecturer at the Darden Graduate School of Business, University
of Virginia.
