Mr.
Waxberg is currently an Senior Consultant with The PELORUS Group, having over 37
years of experience in marketing within high technology industries.
He is also the founder and principal of the Waxberg Consulting Company
LLC, a Market Analysis and Research Company. With
The PELORUS Group, Mr. Waxberg will be responsible for the company’s operator
services and prepaid research.
Mr.
Waxberg began his career at Western Electric Company.
Over the years he held a series of successively more responsible
positions at Bell Laboratories, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies.
Prior to retiring from Lucent Technologies, Mr. Waxberg was the End User
Market Research Director in the Global Marketing Organization.
In this capacity, his responsibilities included: product and service
concept testing, development of predictive marketing models, and demographic,
geographic, economic, and behavioral analysis.
He has managed projects in North America, South America, Western Europe,
and Asia.
In
addition to his work-related responsibilities, Mr. Waxberg has held several
outside leadership positions. He was
elected National Chairman of ISDN Solutions ’94 by the Corporation of Open
Systems and has served on the Appalachian State University Chancellor’s
Business Advisory Council. His
industry achievements and awards include the Eastman Kodak Quality Award and the
Lucent Technologies Network Systems’ Celebration of Excellence Award.
At several points throughout his career, Mr. Waxberg has taught as an
Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Kean University and Adjunct Professor of
Mathematics and Economics at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey.
Mr.
Waxberg received his Masters degree in Business Administration, with a
concentration in Marketing from New York University.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics
from Long Island University. Mr.
Waxberg has also attended the Systems Design Executive Training Program at the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
